Zhala Asgarli joined the firm in June 2017 having an expertise in commercial, employment, corporate and migration law.

She has been consistently advising local and foreign clients on various legal matters including the establishment of legal entities and registration of branches of foreign legal entities in Azerbaijan. Her experience also extends to obtaining residence and work permits for foreign employees. Zhala is proficient in drafting, analysing, reviewing and filing shareholders agreements and other corporate documents for local legal entities. She also has a professional aptitude for representing clients before governmental and non-governmental authorities on contentious and non-contentious matters.

In addition, Zhala regularly advises clients on a wide range of legal matters, including local and cross-border issues under commercial contracts and providing legal opinions on compliance matters.
